E-mail changes... Love INC has been sending out weekly e-mails to volunteers for over a year as a method to offer ministry opportunities and keep in touch. It was discovered that many e-mails are incorrect, Love INC had been identified as sending spam, and many e-mails have not been delivered. If you are not receiving e-mails and you would like to, please e-mail info@loveincabq and ask to be added to the list. Also, please add info@loveincabq to your e-mail address list to make sure you do receive e-mails from us. URGENT NEED FOR BEDS, LINENS, & BLANKETS!
Love INC only has enough beds to deliver to 5 families this weekend. Love INC volunteers helped over 600 families last year and distributed over 1000 beds. This is something that will always be needed and any help is greatly appreciated. Please share this request with co-workers, small groups, neighbors, and ANYONE who might be able to donate. Call Love INC at 255-5683 to arrange a donation pick up. 2011 minutes in 2011! Last month a pastor from a partner church wondered how he could get his congregation more involved with serving the community. Pastor JR Ruiz, from Family Church, decided to challenge his congregation to pledge 2011 minutes in 2011 to serving the community through Love INC. This is 33.5 hours/year and 2.8 hours per month. Pastor JR had his congregation complete pledge cards. He then presented Love INC with a certificate that his congregation would volunteer a minimum of 283 hours in 2011. Through a series of conversations, Love INC decided to challenge all of its partner churches. Several church ministry coordinators (volunteers that are a liason between Love INC and church) have received pledge cards and certificates.
