Volunteers

 

There is no Love in the Name of Christ  in South Albuquerque without church volunteers. Love INC's work is accomplished through volunteer service, offered freely in the Name of Christ.

 

Love INC volunteers are members of local Christian churches. Almost all volunteers belong to Love INC partner churches, although a few people who have volunteered for Love INC are members of other local churches.

 

Love INC, in partnership with local churches, offers a wide variety of opportunities for volunteer service.

If you are interested in volunteering, let your Church Ministry Coordinator, or the Love INC office, know that you are willing to provide certain specific services for someone in need. You can then click VOLUNTEER to enter your information into our database and we will contact you soon.

We offer four types of volunteer service opportunities:  

 

	Clearinghouse-related volunteer service
	Ministry Project service
	Love INC Office service
	Love INC Board and Committee service

 

 

If you volunteer for Clearinghouse-related service . . .

you would respond to one person's specific need, as the Love INC clearinghouse office refers it to you. 

 

If and when someone calls Love INC with that need, then you may receive a call to respond.  With Clearinghouse-related service there is no guarantee that you will be called upon; you place your offered skills into our "database" and we may call upon you if and when the need arises.

 

If you volunteer for Ministry Project service . . .

you will become involved with a ministry activity that is on going over time.  You will work with others on the project in a team atmosphere.  You may have contact with a person in need or you may work in a "support" capacity, depending on your desires. 

 

Some projects occur periodically for a short period of time; others are continuous.  You can choose your degree of involvement. 

 

If you volunteer for Love INC office service . . .

you will work in our office in one of many possible capacities.  Possibilities include administrative work, computer work, phone work, courier service and more.  Job descriptions are available; time commitments vary. 

 

Office volunteers make the ministry to clients and communication with churches a reality!

please contact the Love INC office.  The Love INC Leadership Committee will interview you. 

 

Love INC Board membership is limited in size, and is comprised of individuals from partner churches who have specific gifts, talents and professional expertise needed for board governance.
